OTHER BAJA ADVENTURES
Loreto, the land of contrasts.
IT´S BIODIVERSITY IS UNMATCHED AROUND THE WORLD
Nestled between the Sierra de la Giganta and the Gulf of California, Loreto is a land of contrasts—desert oases, mountain ranges, volcanic islands, and marine biodiversity. Home to blue whales, dolphins, mobula rays, orca, pilot whales, bighorn sheep, pumas, foxes, blue footed boobies, osprey, hawks and endemic species, it’s a UNESCO-protected hotspot.
Founded in 1697 as Baja’s first spanish mission, Loreto blends colonial history with access to Loreto Bay National Park, where volcanic islands like Coronados, Danzante , Carmen, Monserrat and Catalana offer snorkeling, hiking, and wildlife encounters. A true epicenter of wildlife.
La Cachalote, the only 4x4 passenger van in Loreto.
Our Ford E-350 Quigley 4x4 conversion van, perfectly designed for land and coastal expeditions.
With la Cachalote, we venture beyond paved roads to explore dirt trails leading to remote areas.
Your safety and comfort are our priority as you enjoy a reliable, safari-style adventure through Baja's terrain.
La Puma, our Mexican super panga.
Blending style with comfort, this 27-foot vessel is designed for marine exploration, research, whale watching, freediving, or simply enjoying a relaxed day on an island. With a bow designed for optimal cetacean viewing, it offers an exceptional platform for observing marine life up close.
La Puma is perfect for group or family adventures, research, and productions. It features shaded areas, a WC, and essential gear to ensure a comfortable and well-equipped journey on the water.
Citizen Science & Regenerative Tourism
We are committed to caring for species, communities, and ecosystems through every expedition we lead. As our planet continues to change, we believe that even small, intentional actions on the water can contribute to something much larger.
Through our citizen science efforts, each adventure becomes an opportunity to collect meaningful data that supports ongoing research and a deeper understanding of marine ecosystems. From wildlife observations to environmental conditions, the information gathered helps identify patterns, track regional changes, and contribute to the protection of biodiversity.
Our approach is rooted in regenerative tourism—going beyond minimizing impact to actively contribute to the health of the ecosystems we explore. By integrating science, education, and responsible exploration, we aim to create experiences that not only inspire, but also give back to the natural world
Every expedition is a step toward understanding, preserving, and regenerating the ocean for future generations.
